Product Description
• Dimensions and Craftsmanship: The standard size range is 300 mm (ID) × 10 mm (CS) to 1400 mm (ID) × 50 mm (CS). For extra-large sizes (ID > 1400 mm), the “multi-segment vulcanization splicing” process can be employed. The strength at the splice joint shall be ≥80% of the base material’s strength (verified by tensile testing). Groove designs must adhere to the “large-diameter adaptation principle”; tolerances for groove width and depth shall be controlled within ±0.1 mm (to avoid uneven local compression), and the surface roughness shall be Ra ≤ 0.8 μm.
• Materials and Performance: Special rubber materials that are resistant to high temperatures and various media are employed, such as fluoroelastomer (FKM, temperature resistance: -30℃ to 200℃; resistant to most oils and chemicals; permanent compression set ≤25% at 200℃ for 70 hours) and perfluoroelastomer (FFKM, temperature resistance: -40℃ to 325℃; resistant to nearly all chemical media; suitable for harsh environments in semiconductors, aerospace, and strong acid/alkali applications). In high-pressure or dynamic sealing applications, reinforcing fillers (such as carbon black and silicates) can be added to enhance tear resistance (tear strength ≥20 kN/m). For long-term exposure to high temperatures or corrosive environments, the vulcanization system can be optimized and stabilizers can be incorporated to extend service life to 3 to 10 years under demanding operating conditions.
• Installation assistance: Equip with dedicated installation tools (such as ring tensioners and guide sleeves) to prevent distortion of the sealing element during installation. Large-size fluororubber O-rings can be pre-coated with silicone-based lubricant (e.g., Dow Corning DC 111) to reduce installation friction and prevent scratching of the sealing element.
Function
• Main features: Suitable for static sealing applications on large-scale equipment (such as tank top covers, large flanges, and pipe connections) as well as low-speed dynamic sealing applications (such as rotary kilns and large valve spools), this solution provides long-term sealing of liquids (such as crude oil and chemical feedstocks) and gases (such as steam and compressed air), with a leakage rate of ≤1×10⁻⁵ cm³/s (compliant with API 609 valve sealing standards).
• Additional features: It can accommodate thermal expansion and contraction deformation of large-sized sealing surfaces (such as diameter deviations in steel storage tanks caused by temperature changes) by using its own elasticity to compensate for sealing gaps, while also resisting media erosion (such as wear on sealing surfaces caused by high-flow-rate liquids).
Sealing mechanism
• The basic mechanism is consistent with that of conventional O-rings, but optimized for large-size applications: Through precise wire diameter design and material elasticity, the ring body ensures uniform stress distribution within large-diameter grooves, thereby preventing “local overpressure leading to permanent deformation” or “insufficient local pressure causing leakage.” At the joint area, a “beveled vulcanization” process is employed, creating a continuous sealing interface between the joint and the base material—with no steps and no gaps.
• High-voltage compatibility: When the system pressure is ≥20 MPa, a “large-sized retaining ring” (such as a PTFE + bronze powder composite retaining ring) must be installed on the low-pressure side of the groove. The retaining ring shall have a hardness of ≥Shore D75 to prevent the O-ring from being squeezed out of the groove under high pressure. The clearance between the retaining ring and the O-ring should be controlled within 0.05–0.1 mm to avoid leakage of the medium through the gap.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between perfluoroelastomer rubber, fluororubber, and fluorosilicone rubber?
Perfluoroether rubber, fluoroelastomer, and fluorosilicone rubber are all high-performance sealing materials, yet each has its own unique characteristics. Perfluoroether rubber boasts exceptional chemical resistance and high-temperature tolerance, enabling it to withstand extreme chemical environments and elevated temperatures, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications. Fluoroelastomer excels in oil resistance, heat resistance, and weatherability, and is widely used in industries such as automotive and aerospace. Fluorosilicone rubber combines the chemical resistance of fluoroelastomer with the high- and low-temperature resistance of silicone rubber, making it well-suited for applications that require both thermal stability and chemical resistance. These three materials differ in chemical structure, performance, and application scenarios; when selecting one, it’s essential to consider specific requirements.
If samples or drawings are provided, is reverse engineering possible?
Yes, we have a professional R&D team and advanced equipment, enabling us to perform reverse engineering based on the samples or drawings you provide. We’ll conduct a detailed analysis of your samples—including material composition, structural dimensions, and more—and then, in conjunction with your specific requirements, proceed with design and optimization to develop a product that meets your needs. At the same time, we’ll strictly adhere to the confidentiality agreement to ensure the security of your samples and drawings.
How do we ensure quality?
We have a rigorous quality control system that covers everything from raw material procurement and the production process to finished-product inspection. All raw materials are sourced from high-quality suppliers and undergo stringent testing. During the production process, we employ advanced equipment and technologies, and each step is governed by strict operating procedures and quality monitoring protocols. Finished products undergo thorough inspections to ensure they meet relevant standards and customer requirements. In addition, we conduct regular internal quality audits and training sessions to continuously enhance our quality management capabilities.

What’s the product delivery timeline, and what services will be provided afterward?
In-stock products: Orders submitted before 12:00 noon on the same day will be shipped the same day; orders submitted after 12:00 noon will be shipped the next day. For products that are not in stock and require production, the lead time is 7 to 15 days. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are not counted toward the lead time.
The shipping address is in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. Invoices will be issued once the order value reaches 500 yuan; the deadline for invoicing each month is the 25th. Electronic invoices will be sent via push notification; paper invoices are not provided and will be issued after you confirm receipt of the goods. For after-sales service, please contact your sales manager. Since the seals are fragile and lack markings, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is a quality issue. Within mainland China, we use SF Express and Kuayue Express for delivery. Orders over 1,000 yuan qualify for free shipping; for orders below 1,000 yuan, shipping fees will be collected upon delivery.
What are the payment methods?
Payment can be made via bank transfer or wire transfer, with cash-on-delivery. We do not accept other payment methods such as letters of credit. After completing the transfer, please provide proof of payment. We would like to remind you to be vigilant against scams. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be customer service or a bank employee, asking for your account details, credit card information, or instructions to perform ATM transfers and money transfers under the pretext of installment payments for your order, failed deductions, or changes to the payment method, please be highly alert.
